October 2011

October comes to an end with a flurry of activities, crazy costumes, a little rain, and oodles of Coyote Spirit!  Homecoming dance, Halloween costumes, Tennis Court Reopening, and the progress of our Performing Arts Educational Center.  CHS is a place ON THE MOVE!  Check it out.

CHS/Chapparal Elementary Pen Pals

Mrs. McEvoy's 9th grade honors students are inspiring Mrs. Levy's first graders by exchanging pen pal folders.  They will be doing this all semester, culminating at the end of the year when CHS students walk to Chapparal and meet their pen pal in person. What an honor to visit with the first graders today when they received their folder, and got to see a photograph of their high school pen pal.  I will update you on this project throughout the year!
